Q9. Is there a permanent download or must the software be downloaded each individual time?

A9. ResQNet requires the user to download an applet that includes connectivity and the ability to identify host screens and retrieve and display customization. The initial download varies in size, from 350-900KB, depending upon which functionality you wish to include.

You can choose whether to download the applet once and keep it in the browser cache or to download the applet each time a user wants to connect. The permanent (cached) download is just under 900KB; if the cache is cleared or if a new version of the applet is made available, the user will be prompted to download the applet again.
