Q10. How does ResQPortal deal with firewall issues?

A10. ResQPortal servlets can reside behind a firewall, since the only protocol used is HTTP, or its secure variant HTTPS. The Mainframe is accessed from one single point. That single point of communication between the ResQPortal servlet and the enterprise Mainframe can be either located behind the firewall or implemented as a pinhole (based on the server's IP) in the firewall. The telnet (TN3270) protocol is used only by the server to connect to the company's Mainframe host.
