IBM to Sell and Distribute ResQ!Net for Host On-Demand

NEW YORK (April 7, 1998)--In an agreement announced today, IBM Corporation will become an official worldwide reseller of ResQ!Net for Host On-Demand, the fully automatic graphical user interface (GUI) developed by Advanced Transition Technologies (AT2), Inc., an IBM Business Partner.

"We've already experienced a tremendously positive response from companies that are using ResQ!Net for Host On-Demand," said James Shapiro, Executive Director of Sales and Marketing for AT2. "And now with this relationship with IBM, we expect to reach a much broader market for the product and make it easier for customers to purchase and use ResQ!Net."

ResQ!Net for Host On-Demand is available worldwide through IBM software distribution channels. IBM will also provide customer support for the product.

ResQ!Net for Host On-Demand was developed to integrate smoothly with IBM's popular Host On-Demand and Workspace On-Demand web-enabling connectivity software. When used with either of the IBM products, the patented proprietary ResQ!Net technology delivers graphical TN3270 and TN5250 connectivity with "on-the-fly" GUI presentation for all host application screens. The default GUI screens can be further customized by using the ResQ!Net Studio program. No programming is used or generated in this process.

The coupling of ResQ!Net and IBM's Host On-Demand is getting positive reviews from Fortune 500 companies. Ford Motor Company recently completed a successful pilot of ResQ!Net for Host On-Demand. The Quality and Product Information Systems Group at Ford is very pleased with IBM's Host On-Demand and AT2's ResQ!Net. Together they serve to globally integrate Ford's applications to make entry into the 21st Century easier and extremely cost-efficient.
