Multiplatform ResQNet

In addition to rejuvenation AS/400 applications,
ResQNet 4.0 provides access to data on UNIX and other platforms

New York, N.Y. - ResQNet.com has added a completely new bag of tricks to ResQNet, its rejuvenation program for AS/400s and mainframes. Now, in addition to Web-enabling legacy applications with GUIs, ResQNet 4.0 provides an enterprise portal for integrating information stored on UNIX, client/server and Oracle platforms.

ResQNet is a 100% Pure Java applet that does not require any scripting or programming to Web-enable AS/400 and S/390 applications. Other new features in Version 4.0 include advanced macros, comprehensive database access, and support for lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP). Because of frequent customer request, ResQNet.com has also added support for light pens and reverse images.

Users will appreciate the support for LDAP, which simplifies host navigation by automatically retrieving profile-related information such as host IP addresses. This provides for the prefilling of data on screen, bypassing of logon sequences, and automation of host connections. New advanced macros allow administrators to show or hide screens and screen objects, change screen object captions, or modify host input.

Two versions of ResQNet 4.0 are available: Administrator and Customization Studio which costs $1,000 more). Per-user fees start at $99 and decrease based on volume.
