ResQNet updates its ResQPortal solution for Web-enabling iSeries or zSeries data. A new browser-based Remote Customization Studio accelerates screen customization by letting developers make all design modifications directly on the server rather than having to switch repeatedly between the server and a client. Version 4.0 also adds a session-configuration dialog box that lets users create multiple ResQPortal applications and access multiple hosts and customizations sets, and a password-based permissions system that lets administrators restrict access or editing privileges to specific users and applications.
