ResQNet Upgrades Java Connectivity Applet

September 27, 1999 - ResQNet.com announces ResQ!Net 3.2, an upgrade of its thin Java applet that provides graphical connectivity to applications on AS/400s and other hosts via the Internet or intranets. The solution is available as a standalone application or as an add-on to IBM’s eNetwork Host On-Demand product. ResQ!Net 3.2 adds a multiple windowing capability that lets users work with multiple applications on the same screen, introduces a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) server for added security previously only available when using ResQ!Net with Host On-Demand, and includes a keyboard remapping function that lets administrators disable certain keys.
